As I was taking Kayla to school early this morning, we saw a horse trailer being pulled on the freeway. Not too unusual-- there's a lot of animals in this area still-- but then Kayla says to me, "I don't think that looks like a horse in there. It looks like a camel!"
"Not likely," I replied. "I bet it's a llama."
As I pulled closer to the trailer, we saw this:
Wild, huh? :)
Kayla calls her best friend to tell her about "...the best thing that has happened to me in the morning..." Her friend asks her, "So, is an Indian person driving the truck?" Kayla responds, "Huh? What does that have to do with anything? Indians don't usually have camels." Her friend says, "I mean Indians, like from Iraq or something."
Ahhhhhh...... this is the same girl that thought Mexico was a state, and that Canada was near China or something.

You mean Canada and China aren't next to each other? They should just alphabetize all the countries on the globe. It would make Geography so much easier. ;-)
Whose alphabet do you think we should use? :)
The Olympics were interesting to watch, as the way the Chinese "alphebetized" the nations was very different from the rest of the world.
I'm with dftf on that one!
How on earth did you get that photo?
I have visions of you leaning out of the car window pointing your mobile at the camel and shouting 'say cheese!'
LOL, not quite... I pulled alongside the trailer and Kayla snapped the pic with my Blackberry. It was completely dark out, so I had to use PhotoShop to make it a LOT lighter. We didn't know if the photo would even turn out! Glad it did.
