If you would like people to be able to email you back after you leave a comment, here's how you change those settings. Well, at least in Blogger. Those of you with WordPress and other non-Googly blogs will have to figure out things on your own. :)
- Click on the Customize link in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
- Click on the Dashboard link in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
- Click on Edit Profile, which is on the left hand side of the screen next to your picture.
- This will take you to the Edit User Profile screen.
- Look in the Privacy section.
- Check the box that says, "Show my email address".
- In the Identity section, enter in an email address. (Paranoid users: create a new email address for this, if you want.)
- Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on Save Profile.
So if you think I've totally been ignoring your comments lately, it's not true... we'll just have to go after that no-good comment stealer noreply-comment@blogger.com. Hrumph.

Very useful stuff here. I have Wordpress but I've heard a few of my Blogger friends complain about this problem..
I have been the recipient of your replies already, so obviously I did the right thing without knowing it. That's usually about the only way I ever do the right thing, so it worked out.
question though...will your comments still be shown or go direct to email??
so is it a case of one or the other, not both?
Replies to their email will only go to email. I wish there was a way for it to show up in both!
I tend to reply privately to those who comment, and if I think it's relevant, I'll post an answer in my comments section. Like now. :)
Let me see how this works?! OK, I'll ask you a question - you email me the answer.
Hmmmmm (thinking....rubbing chin)...
Are you a geek only at work or on weekends, too? :-)
Thanks for the clear instructions. I learned something today and will now spread the word.
Brilliant!
Thank you for this : ) Very helpful!

This is a fabulous resource. I always forget where the setting is & then have to type it out to let people know how to change it. You saved me SO much time. Thanks so much!
