I was so sad when my mom told me about him this morning!

So many people don't know that he was a war hero!

I have always liked him. I actually have a picture of him with me from years ago in Chicago.

So sad! At least he had a good, happy life.

I can't believe he's gone...him and Bea Arthur. Who's going to be left??

What a gentle gentleman he was. I miss the days of innocent TV talk shows. No laughter at the miserable expense of good people. Just fun. He will be greatly missed.

86 - I'll never make it that far. Seems like he had a pretty good life to me.

What a great pairing they were. The Tonight show has never been the same.

I liked Ed. I actually saw him live in Las Vegas. He opened for Andy Williams in a show at Caesar's Palace. He did a few jokes, some impressions, sang a song or two - entertaining.
