Daylight Savings Time

I hate it. Absolutely HATE it. For the next month, I will be stuck in varying stages of zombie from having my sleep patterns screwed up. That, combined with my estrogen deficiency, will turn me into the Sleep Deprived Zombie from Estrogen Forgetfulness Hell.

Why can't they just pick a time zone and call it good?

I need to move back to Arizona, I guess. Stupid Daylight Savings Time.

aside from the dwindling afternoon light i don't mind usually.

kids are a bit messed up by it - my 10 year old was out cold by 7:30 last night - but it's all good here.

I hate when the government makes me wake up an hour early for (what is it now?) 8 months of the year, but I like it when they return to regular time. Usually, that is. This time I overslept and the effect has been completely ruined.

I know, we all hate it too, takes Milou a week or so to realise he 'aint getting a walk at six am.

I love it when we gain the extra hour, but hate it in the spring. And it's nice to not have to drive to the train in the morning.

But if I were you I'd rebel and not change my clocks at all.

I, too, miss Arizona.

I know right? It's like hibernation or something. And our kids didn't get the memo about sleeping an extra hour. This morning was rough.

I hate it too, although falling back is easier for me than springing ahead. My husband things we should just keep falling back. Fall back in the Fall, fall back in the Spring. ;-)

I hate it, too. Throws me ALL off! I can't cope with little to know sunshine.....by the time I get home it's dark!?!? Hopefully, we'll get through this together :o)

I hear you loud and clear on the DST. I curse all childless people who got an extra hour of sleep. Now my kids are waking up an hour earlier with no end in sight. Hope you get caught up on sleep soon...

I don't mind the time change at this time of year but HATE the loss of an hour in the spring...oh how I mourn that loss...

I'm still of the mind that we should just stop doing DST. I know very few people who don't mind it (does anyone actually like it?), and most hate it.

Let's start a petition. :)

It takes me a about a week to adjust. I see no reason to continue with DST - I don't believe it actually saves energy.

And I'm with the rest of you who miss Arizona. It was great not worrying about it for 10 years.
