Speaking of the 80's....

Did anyone else watch 'American Idol' on Tuesday?

Ok, before now, I could either take or leave Adam Lambert. After Tuesday, I am in love with him. :) He has an amazing voice. And it totally takes me back to my 80's alternative rock days.

Remember Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran)? That's him on the right, looking all alternative-y. Loved him. He was SO hot in the 80's!

And now we have Adam Lambert, born in the 80's, following in Simon's footsteps. (They sure are similar looking, aren't they?) He sang, "Ring of Fire", Adam-style, which totally blew me away. It's either a hate it or love it version, I've decided, and I'm in the "love it" camp.

You can listen here for his studio version. Or here, if you want to listen to the live version that was aired on the show.

So. What do you think?

Sorry Lime,he is too pretty, too perfect and is going to be a superstar, but it was a bit too much for me.
I did'nt expect him to sing it country, but an eastern twist with a bit of Bollywood might have been interesting.

I can't get into AI this year. I usually watch it religiously! He looks like a cutie though.

So not metal. He'll never be Tom Araya.

I totally missed his song but I just wanted to say hi. When I saw 'Green Jello' over at Suldogs I knew you HAD to be from Utah. I'm thinking about changing my name to Funeral Potatoes.

I've never gotten into American Idol but that dude's haircut is hilarious. I know the old styles are making a comeback but still, hilarious.

He's a bit too femme, but he's still very sexy!

At first I thought he was too theatrical, in spite of his great instrument. After Tuesday night, I'm a big fan. It's between the last three who sang as far as I'm concerned.
