Just a returning bank shot - since you hit my blog twice that means ... well, it means the door on the Black Box should be oiled a bit.
Me blog is either one of two things: Interesting or dangerous. And maybe a third - slyly humorous. Or a fourth, I rarely mention food, recipes, religion, little old ladies, sport cars, moving vans, cheap dates, martial arts, NASCAR or football. Or TV. And a fifth, I'm a very liberal progressive person who desperately wants a time machine..
Something about cheese spread and pate and a couple which were just anonymous (choiceA or choiceB) and something else which I forget now.

It is supposed to match up answers/responses you've entered.
Hey suz, it's definitely not random, unless there's not enough info to make a match, in which case it does just pick someone at random.
It first of all checks to find any perfect matches - and if there are more than one of those then it chooses one of them at random ... then it finds 5 matches, 4, 3 etc. I guess if there was only one match then it might feel kinda random!
The match probability is affected by the age of the question you were asked (which are selected at random)... we've got over 2500 questions in there now, and if you get asked a question that was in on day one then there's more chance of finding a match than if it was only entered a few minutes ago, but over time it all works out :)

Oh - and sorry about the choiceA / choiceB thing - sometimes people forget to fill it in but still submit their blog title without the questions, and the script to remove them only runs once in a while - obviously something I need to speed up or test for when the data is submitted.

I can't remember what the questions were very well - one was a choice A or B, so no help there, one was barn owl or snowy owl - I went for snowy, but the other two were names I didn't know so I chose randomly.
