I had to scrape the windshield at 6:20am again this morning. Ugh.
Ron came out to put some stuff in the trunk of the car for me before I left this morning, and the hatchback handle broke right off. Ugh.
I double-checked the calendar. It isn't Monday anymore. Unless I'm missing something (likely).
Maybe tomorrow will be a better Tuesday.

It's Official
Winter has arrived. At least, it has arrived According To Suz. Why, you ask? It's because I had to scrape the $@#%! windshield this morning at 6:20am. Ugh.
And then I discovered a very large crack running through my windshield. Ugh.
I just checked... yup, it's a Monday.

I Spy... Something Red
We saw this while driving on the highway today:

Kayla was getting in driving practice today, so I pulled out the camera. :) As we drove past them, the girls in the back rolled down their window and yelled out, "HEY! SEXY UNDERWEAR!!!" As we watched them turn off at an intersection, she was seen pushing her panties back into her jeans.
I loved the fact she was wearing pumps on a motorcycle, too. LOL!

Check Your Tires!
I just watched this today. Please take the time to watch the report, and then go check your tires!
http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=4826897
I just went out and checked mine in the parking lot-- the numbers were printed on the outside of the tires (so no crawling under the car... yay!). I've got good tires, it seems... they say "2507", which means that they were only a couple months old when I bought them. Gotta love Costco Tire Center. :)

Texting
Kayla has been whining for over two years, hoping this will eventually convince me of her Great Need For Texting. Now that she's going to be attending a school about an hour's drive from where we live, I'm thinking now is the time to get texting.
Of course, this morning the main news headline is about a woman who caused a bad accident and almost killed a man because she was texting while driving.
I've told Kayla in no uncertain terms that if she EVER texts while driving, I will confiscate the phone permanently. I've heard of other parents threatening to withdraw all driving privileges until age 18. I'm thinking that's not a bad idea...
Comments on the news article mention a new device called tiwi. It tells your kid that they're driving too fast, or doing other reckless things while driving. If it only could tell when your kid was texting while driving, or yakking on the cell, or even messing with the stereo too much... then I'd get one.

Please Hit Me-- I Need the Aggravation!
I swear I have a target painted on the back of every vehicle I drive. Sheesh.
I got rear-ended *again*. I haven't even had this one long enough to get plates on it! I am SO tired of getting in car accidents... you know it's pretty sad when I've been in so many car accidents that I can't tell you what # accident this is...
In other news, it looks like Ron and I are back together again. I'm still not exactly sure how it happened, but it did. And I'm okay with it. Ever since seeing E.C. this last time, I've been able to put that relationship completely to rest. He no longer tugs on my heartstrings. So now that I'm back together with Ron, things seem different. I don't know how to explain it, but it just *is*.
Love is confusing.

Awesome Saturday
This last Saturday was a good day.
I got my "new" car finally... I really wanted another Cherokee, but I settled for a Pathfinder. The kids think it's "cooler" because it has a sunroof and leather seats. I'm twitching because my car payment went up. I miss my Jeep! Stupid black ice...
After many years, Tap Dogs came to town!!! [http://www.tapdogs.co.uk] Awesome experience, well worth the $$ to go see. Ron and I got great seats-- first row balcony, left side, almost near the center. Way too cool.
We ate Thai food afterwards, which I haven't done for ages. I opened the menu, and immediately knew what I had to order. I mean, how on earth can you resist an entree choice named, "Evil Jungle Princess Chicken"? It was a zesty peanut-red curry with chicken, long beans, vegetables, mint and Thai basil. I ate it over brown rice, and enjoyed every minute my mouth was on exquisite fire. Yum!
It was fun to dress up... not often I get to wear a fancy black dress and high heels. I think I clean up pretty good. Ron looks very handsome in his black slacks (which show off his magnificently tight butt) and long leather trenchcoat. He was looking very Matrix-y that night. :)
I definitely need more Saturdays like this in my life.
